Welcome to the dogs’ place everyone’s been talking about

Healthy. Happy. Well-socialized Dogs.

Welcome to Katy’s Pack

I created Katy’s Dogs Place to be a long/short term dog care center focused on safe socialization so your dogs can be well adjusted and unafraid of life, even when you’re not around. With 25 years of experience socializing dogs and 10 years of experience rehabbing them, I know how to communicate with your fuzzy family members to make them feel comfortable and happy while in my care. Some other facilities don’t focus as much on socialization between dogs and they can often get hurt. Leaving your furry friend is a stressful event even without the extra worries. My experience allows me to ensure that your dog socializes in safe ways. Our goal here is to help you raise and take care of a healthy, happy and well-socialized dog.

Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease in Oregon Precautions You May Choose to Take

For Dog Owners

  • Vaccinate your dog as recommended by your veterinarian. This may include vaccinations for canine influenza, Bordetella, parainfluenza and canine adenovirus type 2.

  • Avoid communal water bowls and toys, and clean these items thoroughly.

  • Avoid playdates with unknown dogs. Socialization is important for your dog, so you might consider creating a playgroup of known dogs that are also vaccinated.

  • Avoid or limit your dog's exposure to settings with unknown dogs, such as off-leash dog parks.

  • If your dog is sick, please keep them at home and seek veterinary care.
